Check out the album and buy it now on iTunes:

From its humble beginnings as a super indie record being written and demo’d in a three-thousand square foot macadamia nut factory in Hawai’i – complete with chickens and power tools in the background – to its completion, New York-based rock ‘n’ roll band Jonny Lives!’s sophomore full-length, Revolution For Free has been an island-to-island journey which culminates in the release of the record September 27, 2011 via a joint venture between front man Jonny Dubowsky’s own Rock ‘n Renew Records
and Los Angeles, CA-based indie Long Live Crime Records.

Wonderful Broken Thing

Wonderful Broken Thing band members Jeff Klindt, Steve Bryant, John Killabrew and Kirk DeWald recorded this record Scotchtape & Threadspools in 1988 over a few weeks time and a lot of beer. It got a digital release in 2005. It is available on iTunes and all other music download sites. The music has been heard in the past on the now-famous H Street videos.

The newest album, Looking for Mike Lookinland, was recorded in 1989 at a real studio. The tapes were stored in a garage until 2006 when we found them, dusted them off, mixed them, mastered them and… holy shit!!!

A few years ago it was Jeff’s hope that the music would find its way to the masses. All the music and everything that surrounds it is dedicated to the memory of Jeff Klindt, who is no longer with us.
